KIRBY HILL & DISTRICT PARISH COUNCIL

The Annual General Meeting of the above Parish Council was held at the Coronation Hall on Monday 14 May 2007 at 7.00pm, prior to the Annual Parish Meeting, due notice having been given.
Present: Cllr Smailes (Chairman), Cllr Peter McKenzie (Vice Chairman), Cllrs Parr, Wilkinson, Helliwell, Widdows, NYCCllr Watson and DCllr N Wilson

Minutes
The Minutes of the AGM held on 15thMay 2006, having been copied and distributed, were agreed and duly signed. Resolved.
3. Financial Statement
The accounts as at 31st March 2007 showed a balance of £2102.08 and were accepted and duly signed.
4. Election
of Chairman
Cllr McKenzie, Vice Chairman, called for nominations for the office of
Chairman. Cllr Wilkinson proposed Cllr Smailes and this was seconded by Cllr Helliwell. Cllr Smailes agreed to serve as Chairman for a further year.
5. Election
of Vice-Chairman
Cllr Smailes asked for nominations. Cllr Wilkinson proposed Cllr McKenzie. This was seconded by Cllr Helliwell. Cllr McKenzie agreed to serve as Vice-Chairman for a further year.
6. Vacancy
Kirby Hill vacancy following resignation 30 April of Cllr Jean Graham. Currently advertised on noticeboard. If 10 electors do not request election by 29 May 2007 the Parish Council can fill this vacancy through co-option
