KIRBY HILL & DISTRICT PARISH COUNCIL

Kirby Hill, Milby,Thornton Bridge, Humberton and Ellenthorpe)
The Annual General Meeting of the above Parish Council was held at the Coronation Hall on Monday 12 May 2008 at 7.15pm, due notice having been given.
Present: Cllr Smailes (Chairman), Cllr Peter McKenzie (Vice Chairman), Cllrs Helliwell, Lister, Widdows, Wilkinson and NYCCllr Watson.

Minutes
The Minutes of the AGM held on 14thMay 2007, having been copied and distributed, were agreed and duly signed. Resolved.
3. Financial Statement
The accounts as at 31st March 2008 showed a balance of £2828.50 and were accepted and duly signed.
4. Election
of Chairman
Cllr McKenzie, Vice Chairman, called for nominations for the office of
Chairman. Cllr Widdows proposed Cllr Smailes and this was seconded by Cllr Helliwell. Cllr Smailes agreed to serve as Chairman for a further year.
5. Election
of Vice-Chairman
Cllr Smailes asked for nominations. Cllr Wilkinson proposed Cllr McKenzie. This was seconded by Cllr Lister. Cllr McKenzie agreed to serve as Vice-Chairman for a further year.
6. Co-option
Humberton Vacancy
Cllr McKenzie proposed the co-option of Mary Renfrew. This was
seconded by Cllr Widdows. Prof Renfrew, who was not at the meeting, had earlier let the clerk know that she would accept the co-option.*
(*Mary Renfrew attended the subsequent ordinary meeting and signed the Declaration of Acceptance)
