KIRBY HILL & DISTRICT PARISH COUNCIL

The Annual General Meeting of the above Parish Council was held at the Coronation Hall on Tuesday 12 May 2009 at 7.30pm, due notice having been given.
Present: Cllr Smailes (Chairman), Cllr Peter McKenzie (Vice Chairman), Cllrs Helliwell, Lister, Parr, Renfrew, Widdows, Wilkinson , DCllr Brown and
Martin Rae (Clerk)

Minutes
The Minutes of the AGM held on 12th May 2008, having been copied and distributed, were agreed and duly signed. Resolved.
3. Financial Statement
The accounts as at 31st March 2009 showed a balance of £2675.75 and were accepted and duly signed.
Regarding S137 contributions it was agreed that a donation of £25 should be given to Boroughbridge Community Care in the coming financial year
4. Election
of Chairman
Cllr McKenzie, Vice Chairman, called for nominations for the office of
Chairman. After some unaccepted nominations Cllr Helliwell proposed Cllr Smailes and this was seconded by Cllr Wilkinson. Cllr Smailes agreed to serve as Chairman for a further year only.
5. Election
of Vice-Chairman
Cllr Smailes asked for nominations. Cllr McKenzie proposed Cllr Helliwell and this was seconded by Cllr Smailes. Cllr Helliwell agreed to serve as Vice-Chairman.
The Meeting ended at 7.40pm
